The Role: As a Corporation Tax Senior or Manager, you’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive tax services to a range of clients, from corporate groups and private equity-backed businesses to large owner-managed businesses (OMBs). You’ll oversee complex compliance tasks, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to high-value advisory projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who thrives on variety, technical challenges, and building meaningful client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Leadership: Prepare tax accounting disclosures and corporation tax computations for complex clients, ensuring HMRC submissions are accurate and timely. Review junior team members’ work on simpler compliance cases, offering guidance and constructive feedback. Manage risks related to contentious tax issues, providing proactive and sound advice to clients. Oversee quarterly instalment payment calculations.

Advisory Expertise: Conduct detailed capital allowance reviews and R&D claims. Support group restructures, mergers, and acquisitions with corporation tax due diligence. Participate in high-value, strategic advisory projects, providing clients with tailored tax solutions.

Collaboration & Development: Mentor and train junior colleagues, fostering technical growth and confidence. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal tax teams and wider firm stakeholders. Develop commercial, trust-based relationships with clients to understand their business goals and tax needs.

What We’re Looking For: A friendly, approachable professional with strong communication skills. Confidence in liaising with clients and HMRC, both in writing and verbally. Qualified ACA, ACCA, AAT, or CTA, with at least two years of corporation tax experience. A strong technical understanding of tax compliance, with additional advisory experience highly desirable.
