As a member of Team Ally Pally you will be one of the custodians of the iconic, world famous 'People's Palace, ensuring the legacy of our 150 exhilarating years is continued, now and forever. As Event Manager you will oversee nominated events from client brief through to delivery across a wide range of Ally Pally's event program. You will have demonstrable event management experience gained in a venue managing a variety of events with a significant capacity. This is a full time, permanent role. Salary: £37,500 - £42,000 pa depending on experience Key duties: Plan and deliver nominated events Manage the event P&L for nominated events Monitor contractor and supplier performance against KPIs Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships Coordinate event planning and debrief paperwork In the role of Duty Manager prepare the venue for event open Participate in the creative development of the in-house events programme Uphold site presentation Essential: IOSH managing safely qualification Previous experience in a similar Event Manager role managing large events (min 5,000 capacity) Extensive venue experience Experience briefing contractors and suppliers Experience managing event budgets Excellent customer service Desirable: NEBOSH managing safely qualification Experience managing live music events Experience of crowd management This is not an exhaustive list, please see the JOB PACK for further details and how to apply Closing date is 12pm Monday 13 January 2025
