We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our reputable group company with global brands, based in Watford with some travel to London or Southend. This role offers an opportunity for a fully qualified CA, CIMA, or ACCA professional to engage in both management and financial accounting functions, supporting sales, operations, and finance teams.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
Management Accounting:
Liaise with sales, sourcing and operations teams. Prepare sales & margin reports and sales forecasts. Maintain costing sheets of products. Prepare weekly purchase order log. Review periodical stock reports, monitor optimum and efficient use of stocks and warehouses. Financial Accounting:
Assist FC with preparation of monthly/quarterly accounts, compliance with bank and brand owners. Perform variance analysis of operating expenses and take corrective action in liaison with functional managers. Prepare weekly/quarterly cash flow statements. Person Specifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in management/financial accounting in a commercial environment or with a firm of chartered accountants. Experience in using SAGE 200 or equivalent accounting package. Experience in using ERP System, Excel (advanced). Ability to work to strict deadlines, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with non-financial managers. Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
