Construction Site Supervisor

to join our Construction Team in providing leadership, planning, and construction management expertise for the scheduling, execution, and successful delivery of a 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System project located in Napanee, Ontario. Responsibilities:

Support and assist the Construction Manager to provide onsite leadership for subcontractor workforce. Manage the day-to-day operations of a construction site. Inspect the work progress on a regular basis to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track and submit reports to document progress. Ensure accurate layout of all subcontractors work in accordance with project plans and specifications. Inspect and monitor the quality and progress of the work, identifying and resolving any deficiencies or deviations. Direct subcontractor activity to achieve production goals. Maintain a strong knowledge of the trades and scopes of work to ensure that the correct means and methods of construction are being used. Ensure job site remains safe, clean, and orderly. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications:

5 years’ previous construction superintendent or similar role in commercial or government construction. High School Diploma or equivalent. Basics of Supervision (IHSA or equivalent) training. Additional Qualifications:

Strong knowledge/background in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection layout and construction practices. Ability to work as a team member to complete the project. In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc. Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractor field operations. Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills. Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Suite, ProCore, and construction industry Project Management Information System required. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
