Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your accounting skills and financial acumen in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, producing error-free accounting reports, and providing technical support on management. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions to ensure accuracy. You will produce error-free accounting reports and present their results to stakeholders. Additionally, you will analyze financial information and summarize the company's financial status. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures. You will also participate in setting financial standards and supporting the month-end and year-end close process. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results Analyze financial information and summarize financial status Provide technical support and advice on management Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Support month-end and year-end close process What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role brings strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures along with experience creating financial statements. Your excellent attention to detail enables you to spot numerical errors quickly while your ability to analyse large amounts of data helps drive strategic decisions. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software such as SAP is essential for this role. Qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with creating financial statements Excellent attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors Ability to analyse large amounts of data Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP) Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus About the job
