A great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor, with an emphasis on Employee Relations. This is a temporary assignment on a fixed term contract for 6 months, 4 days a week, 32 hours with a March 2025 start. As the HR Advisor of Prometheus you report to the Head of HR to support and work collaboratively, building effective working relationships with the wider Prometheus team. The role has a strong focus on employee relations, but also provides the opportunity to be actively involved in Organisational change and resource management. This is an office based role. Main duties of the job

Be the first point of contact for ER queries, take the lead to support Managers with Employee Relation cases, while assessing any mitigating potential risk Develop effective on-going relationships at all levels, responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best practice approach Ensure the accurate monitoring and recording of the case management system. Provide Guidance and support on family Friendly Matters, including maternity, flexible working, Paternity and adoption. Produce required monthly and weekly reports. Support the HR team in the administration of the employee cycle processes ensuring that legal compliance is met. Contribute to the continuous enchancment of processes, policies and documentation to align with best practice and Legal standards. Support the Head of HR in key people strategy projects such a staff surveys and external compliance audits. About us

Role Overview: Createand update HR content which is legally compliant and in support of the HRfunction. Train, upskill and support our line management community throughcoaching and training. Create andpresent data insights to contribute to strategic decisions, manage employeerelations cases in accordance with company policy and procedures. Maintain effective relationships with the business,and consistently maintain high professional standards in line with ACAS and theCIPD Code of Professional Conduct. Champion the visions and values of our business andin particular where they impact on our workforce. Respond to and answer general queries that are sentto the HR Inbox, owning where possible, and escalating where required. Own longer-term projects that support businessgrowth through HR input. Support delivery of, and sometimes lead, trainingsessions owned by HR. Support consultations and business restructuringwith wider business leaders. Act as a point of contact for colleagues withspecific change queries. Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage and support employee relationscases including high risk cases across all business streams and at all levelsto ensure that they are dealt with in line with policies and procedures andmeet key performance indicators and service level agreements. Coach, educate and advise managers on best practicein relation to employment related issues by providing compliant, commercial,professional and timely advice. Empower managers by providing a range ofoptions to ensure they can manage their cases and issues effectively,clearly setting out the associated risks. Answer queries regarding terms and conditions ofemployment to ensure process are followed and are actioned within agreed timeframes. Working collaboratively with the wider HR Team and Payroll. appropriately. Reviewing case documentation toensure reduction of risk, quality control, compliance with employment law. Tocommunicate with managers, advisingand highlighting risk to theorganisation. Identify and escalate areas of non-compliance orhigh risk to stakeholders, providing regular management information andadditional ad hoc reporting as necessary. Analyse and present HR management information on aregular, or where requested, basis to support HR initiatives and driveimprovement for the organisation. Design and deliver bespoke HR related training toequip managers with the knowledge and skills required to manage their teamseffectively. To support senior stakeholders in managing thelegal process including ACAS early conciliation, general ACAS liaison andsupporting with employment tribunals. Undertake a comprehensive review, update andcreation of new HR documentation as required, leading on reviewing assignedpolicies and associated documentation in accordance with the policy reviewframework in response to external changes. To work collaboratively and engagewith internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including in depthEquality Impact Assessment research and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Build and maintain effective relationships withstakeholders to ensure HR are trusted advisers and services are utilised by thecompany. Provide ad hoc project support to the wider HR teamas required. Support with any other work as required by thedepartment (reviewing policies and procedures, data analysis, compliance auditchecks check). Qualifications

Qualification in HRM; CIPD Level 5 Essential or Equivalent Degree or CIPD Level 7 Qualification - Desirable Experience

Minium 3 years experience in Human Resources Experience of a HR Generalist or Employee Relations role at advisory level. Experience of managing complex employee relation cases. Experience of delivering employment advice and guidance to managers at all levels. Experience of Coaching / training Line Managers Proven experience in dealing with a high level of HR case management. High level of Professionalism and integrity Demonstrate commitment to fairness and the promotion of diversity & inclusion Experience of working in a large multi-site organisation. Familiar with ISO Standards 9001 Disclosure and Barring Service Check
