The Downright Special Network is recruiting a part-time Health Lead for 8 hours a week, term-time only (39 weeks). The Downright Special Health Lead is responsible for supporting families and professionals in understanding the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people with Down syndrome. Working directly with parents, carers, and professionals in health and social care, as well as the Downright Special team, you will have the drive and passion to improve health outcomes and enhance the experience of healthcare services for people with Down syndrome. You will be responsible for developing strategies, tools, and resources to empower parents and carers to navigate the health and care system and support their child/young person’s health, wellbeing, and development.
