About this opportunity It’s an exciting time to be part of Adult Social Care and Housing directorate working in Cumberland Council. We are seeking a person who can help us realise our vision of embedding technology enabled care into our services, enhancing the lives of individuals in our communities.

Key responsibilities This role will take strategic leadership and management responsibility, leading the business transformation and implementation of our technology enabled care plan. The successful candidate will deliver and evaluate service design projects, collaborating with colleagues in Adult Social Care, Digital Innovation, and ICT to analyze the benefits of changes made.

The role will ensure consistent engagement with our workforce to implement effective technology relevant to all aspects of the service. It includes leading the directorate’s Tech Enabled Care programme and ensuring alignment with standards for digital working in adult social care.

This role will also involve working alongside our Digital Design Leads to implement digital technologies and develop the workforce’s digital knowledge and skills.
