Senior Finance Business Partner

to join Eastlight’s Finance Team on a permanent basis! The successful candidate will provide strategic and financial insight to Eastlight’s stakeholders, approach the business with a forward-looking perspective and be able to present key points of an argument persuasively. Leveraging proven experience, you will influence decision-makers effectively and support budget holders in developing practical solutions through detailed analytical reviews. The Senior Finance Business Partner will: Prepare detailed and accurate monthly reporting for your designated areas. Lead monthly business reviews with the business area to communicate understanding of financial performance. Maintain and review accruals and prepayments, as well as monthly balance sheet reconciliations and deal with any follow-up actions as required. Prepare year-end statutory notes, completing year-end tasks and responding to external audit requests in this respect. Assist budget holders in producing year-end forecasts, challenging assumptions used where applicable. Co-ordinate responses to any budget setting/re-forecasting process from your designated areas, reviewing and challenging assumptions and calculations as appropriate. We are looking for: A full relevant Financial Qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA or equivalent). Significant experience in a similar position and level, as well as a proven track record of working as a decision influencer. Previous proven experience within the Social-Housing sector.
