Flexible Full time & Part time hours available - Permanent It is an exciting time to join our team in Wiltshire. We are looking for an experienced band 6 or someone looking to take the next steps in their career. Full time and part time hours are available. We are continuing to deliver our plans to provide joint working with our community nursing teams to support patient care. The successful candidate will be part of our team providing care across Wiltshire. There will be opportunities for further development, with regular CPD within the team. The caseload is high risk care, but there will be opportunities to participate in nail surgery and MSK rotations. Main duties of the job

The Podiatry department is county wide and you may berequired to cover clinics at various sites within Wiltshire and the serviceboundaries. The successful applicant will have a close working relationshipwith Specialist Podiatrists within the organization to ensure that key areassuch as Biomechanics services, Specialist Services for Diabetic Foot problemsand Tissue Viability are delivered. Experience

Significant post registration clinical experience working independently in both community and acute settings providing a high standard of care and clinical management. Experience of working to deliver high standards of client satisfaction. Experience of working with diverse needs. Involvement in programmes of audit Experience of working within a Multi-disciplinary team, supervising junior staff Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of specialist podiatric care, interventions and their application. Nail Surgery experience Sound Understanding of Podiatry eligibility criteria and its application to a wide range of client groups. Experience of working in a complex healthcare environment Experience of supervising staff following relevant trust policies Qualifications

Degree or equivalent recognised qualification in Podiatry Registered with the HCPC HCPC recognised Local Anaesthetic Certificate Evidence of recent and relevant CPD to demonstrate significant experience Good working knowledge across a range of podiatric practices: acute and chronic wound management, footwear, appliances, nail surgery, biomechanics Diabetic Foot Module Certificate of competency in the use of prescription only medicines Proven working knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace Disclosure and Barring Service Check
