We have a fantastic opportunity for Financial Reporting Accountant to join an industry leading global PLC company with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. The business operates across multiple global regions and are seeking a talented ACA Qualified professional to enhance their financial reporting function in this newly created role. As the Group Financial Reporting Accountant, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the group. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.

Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.

Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights.

Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Provide expert advice on complex accounting issues, including acquisitions, disposals, and other corporate transactions.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience; ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.

Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS).

Experience in preparing statutory accounts and working with external auditors.

Proficient in Excel and financial management systems.

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong communication skills.

Compensation Package: Salary up to £55k
