Geoenvironmental Engineer Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Geotechnical Consultancy to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer as part of their Nottinghamshire based team. This role focuses on providing geotechnical support and consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage a variety of projects from inception to completion Manage financial budgets for projects Undertake fieldwork and supervision of site contractors Prepare desk study reports, interpretative geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports, and waste classification assessments to current UK standards Have a good understanding of characterizing ground conditions and providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining walls, mining, and slope stability assessments. Conversant with GEO5 design software and geophysical surveys would be advantageous. About You Proven experience of at least 2 years in working for a consultancy in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering BSc in Geology or related field Either Chartered or working towards chartership Computer and Geotechnical Software Literate Full UK Clean Driving License and willingness to travel as part of the role CSCS Card advantageous but not essential Salary and Contract Details Competitive Salary Flexible Working Holiday Package Company Pension This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd, which is operating as an employment business.
