MICE Commercial Director
based at Klarent Head Office. The MICE Commercial Director will have a key focus on the overall revenue performance within the M&E function for Klarent Hospitality. This includes delivery of sales & marketing strategy to drive revenue and grow market share within the MICE segment for the Klarent portfolio. The Role:
Drive the revenue performance of MICE function across all hotels. Create the annual commercial plan including scheduled in-house campaigns to complement brand initiatives and support the delivery of the MICE budget. Communicate commercial plan to key stakeholders, working closely with regional teams and General Managers to ensure plans are implemented at property level where required. Responsible for bringing MICE expertise to the role, using their industry knowledge and market intelligence to make meaningful recommendations to key stakeholders to maximize opportunities. Continuously review each hotel’s performance, ensuring MICE offering is fit for purpose in terms of product and facilities. The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience within a leadership role in the hotel industry. Previous experience in a MICE role within the hotel industry. Ability to manage, analyze and present data effectively in order to make informed decisions on strategy. A strong leader with the ability to motivate and influence others, adapting their leadership style in different situations. A strong commercial acumen displaying an interest and understanding of issues relevant to the business and industry.
