Chef Manager | London; N5 1XB | Full Time -32.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm with flexibility and occasional weekends | £29,913 per annum Since 1974, our client has been at the heart of the community, fostering inclusion, growth, and opportunity. As the Chef Manager, you will cook meals, and oversee and elevate our client's bustling community café. This role is your chance to blend culinary expertise with meaningful impact, as you'll not only serve delicious meals but also contribute to a range of community events, services for older adults, and private functions. Are you the right person for the job? Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar hospitality role Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and excellent organisational skills A customer-first mindset with outstanding communication and leadership abilities Passion for delivering high-quality food and service while supporting a vibrant community What will your role look like? Lead daily operations of the café, ensuring exceptional service and food quality Craft nutritious and appealing menus tailored to a diverse community Recruit, train, and supervise staff, maintaining a welcoming and efficient team environment Manage stock, budgets, and reports, ensuring smooth financial operations Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and equipment care in line with food health and safety regulations Cater for a variety of events, from our lunch club to private functions, with an eye for detail and creativity Engage with customers and resolve feedback, ensuring a positive experience for all Support fundraising and community events What can you expect in return?
