Based from home covering the M25 and Northwest London region. This role covers London and the Southeast.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.

Basic salary up to £42,000 depending on experience, fuel card, bonus, van, laptop, mobile, pension, holidays and paid overtime.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will have an Electrical bias and ideally hold a recognised electrical qualification either 17th or 18th Edition and demonstrate any experience of working in the commercial, industrial laundry or medical equipment industry.

You will be proficient in reading electrical schematics, as well as having a proven ability to fault find.

You will be responsible for attending to service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and reporting on faults with the ability to identify and report machine & install conditions and recommendations.

You will need to demonstrate integrity with good problem solving and diagnostic skills, along with effective communication skills, both written and spoken. You must be highly personable and professional, able to work under your own initiative, with good time management and the ability to work under pressure.

Duties:

Check and commission equipment installations and carry out basic installations on various equipment. Prepare and test x-rental equipment ready to be supplied. Conduct routine maintenance visits to check equipment, when required. Maintain van stock control and update the Salesforce inventory. Deliver high quality service to a diverse customer base. Diagnose, repair, recondition and install commercial laundry and catering equipment. Attend service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults. Report machine and install conditions and recommendations. Check and commission installations of laundry equipment. Carry out basic installations of laundry equipment. Preparing ex-rental and testing equipment ready to be supplied. Attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on laundry equipment. You will also recondition and install equipment as part of the daily requirements.
