The
Finance Business Partner Commercial
is responsible for supporting Abcam's Commercial and Digital function through consistent financial reporting and analysis, focusing on our Revenue reporting and modelling.
This position reports to the
Finance Director, Commercial & Digital,
and is part of the Financial Planning and Analysis Team located in
Cambridge
and will be
on-site .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Planning and Budgeting : Drive the revenue budgeting and revenue forecasting processes, own the detailed modelling and ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals. Financial Analysis : Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Business Partnering : Build strong relationships with key business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide financial expertise. Financial Controls : Ensure appropriate SOX compliant controls in place for our revenue recognition requirements. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. The essential requirements of the job include:
Qualified accountant Proven experience in a similar role. Advanced
financial modeling
and
analytical skills
(i.e. Excel). Strong understanding of
financial principles
and
accounting standards . Proficiency in
financial planning
systems and tools. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
