A highly respected accountancy practice firm based in Woking is currently seeking a talented and experienced Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. Leading and managing financial audits from planning through to completion, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with professional standards. Supervising and mentoring audit teams, providing them with guidance and support to ensure high-quality audit performance and professional development. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored advice to enhance their financial processes and controls. Collaborating with other departments to offer comprehensive business advice, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in all areas of accountancy practice. Ensuring compliance with internal methodologies and regulatory standards, including keeping abreast of changes in financial reporting and auditing standards. Managing multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Ideal Candidate:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a solid background in audit within a practice environment. Proven experience in managing audits and leading teams, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A thorough understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively.
