**About the Role** We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons at a secondary school in Derby. This role involves teaching students across key stages, fostering a love for literature and language, and helping them develop their critical reading and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students of all abilities. - Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and participation. - Develop and adapt resources to align with curriculum standards and support innovative teaching practices. - Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential. - Support students' understanding of key literary concepts and effective communication. - Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance the overall learning experience. - Promote positive behaviour and ensure adherence to school policies.

**What We're Looking For** - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary school level. - Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language. - Excellent communication and organisational skills to inspire and engage students. - Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs. - Experience in developing creative teaching materials is desirable. - Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
