Are you a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager looking to join a dynamic main contractor? My client specializes in refurbishment and facades, including cladding projects, delivering high-quality solutions across London and West Sussex.

Role Overview:

As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, maintaining high safety standards, and developing a strong health and safety culture across our sites and office operations. You'll work closely with project teams to identify risks, implement policies, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage health and safety across multiple sites and office locations. Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures. Provide training and guidance to site staff and management teams. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Keep up-to-date with legislation and industry best practices, ensuring the business remains compliant.

Requirements: Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager role, ideally within refurbishment, facades, or cladding projects. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of construction health and safety regulations, particularly CDM regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams at all levels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving a safety-first culture. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites in London and West Sussex.
