We are looking for a dynamic and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be the key link between the finance department and operational business units, providing strategic and financial insights to drive decision-making and improve business performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to support the continued growth and success of BJSS. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Support the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes across various business units. Provide detailed commentary and analysis on any variances to budget and forecast, identifying key trends and underlying causes. Collaborate with the operational teams to develop action plans to address variances and improve financial performance, while continuously refining the forecasting process to enhance predictability and strategic decision-making. Business Partnering:

Work closely with operational teams and leadership to provide financial insights, analysis and advice to guide decision-making and strategy execution. Cost Management:

Provide cost analysis, help manage budgets and identify areas for improvement or cost savings within projects and operational activities. Revenue Assurance:

Collaborate with Delivery and Client Service Leads to track and report on financials, ensuring revenue recognition, profitability analysis and margin tracking are aligned with company objectives. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial management and decision-making. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different teams (IT, Operations, HR and Commercial) to align financial planning with business objectives and strategies. About You

Qualifications and experience required for this role: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a tech, consulting or similar environment Strong financial modelling and analysis capabilities with a high level of attention to detail Ability to understand and interpret business drivers and translate them into financial outcomes and recommendations Strong proficiency in Excel.
