About the Role Manage multiple payrolls and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and reporting. Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and account balances. Oversee data compilation and maintain data protection standards. Ensure accurate processing of payroll changes, including appointments, leavers, and leave administration. Support payroll audits and implement improvement plans. Resolve complex payroll issues and enhance payroll policies and procedures. Monitor legislative updates and adapt business responses as needed. Collaborate with People teams on payroll-related projects and data solutions. Stay informed on payroll developments and participate in relevant networking forums. Package Description 6 Months Fixed Term £40,000 - £50,000 Dependent on Experience. Proficient in accounting principles, payroll practices, and statutory compliance. Skilled in delivering payroll projects and managing cyclical payroll activities. In-depth knowledge of payroll calculations, legislation, and data protection. Proficient with payroll/accounting software (KV preferred) and MS Office tools. Strong team management, prioritisation, and time management abilities. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experienced in project management and stakeholder collaboration.
