About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering diverse and challenging projects, from small-scale developments to large, multi-building schemes. Your expertise will shape the infrastructure of the future while collaborating with talented professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Civils Team on projects of varying scales.
Design infrastructure solutions, including underground drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards.
Liaise with statutory bodies like water companies, the Environment Agency, and local road departments.
Utilise technical design tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and other relevant software.
Maintain quality and consistency in technical outputs, including drawings and reports.
Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and excellence.
Attend design and site meetings and conduct site inspections.
Provide expert advice to clients, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring professional communication.
Manage projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
You will have:
A degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (chartership is an advantage).
Strong technical design skills and proficiency in relevant software.
A proactive approach to managing teams and delivering high-quality results.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
