About the Business

An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a service business based in Birmingham Business Park. The company operates in an international industry and has an ambitious growth plan.

Main Duties: Drive Financial Excellence:

Ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts and quarterly forecasts, complete with insightful explanations for budget variances. Collaborate and Innovate:

Work closely with Budget Holders across the business to prepare budget and forecast submissions, providing analytical reviews and support. Communicate with Clarity:

Keep your line manager and the finance team informed about any identified opportunities and risks, ensuring clear and effective communication. Boost Team Morale:

Build and maintain the morale of the management accounts team, collaborating with peers on development initiatives. Enhance Profitability:

Focus on increasing profitability and continuous improvement by analyzing and challenging current practices and processes. Strategic Support:

Provide financial input to support managers in strategic planning efforts. Evaluate Investments:

Assess capital investment projects and help evaluate new contracts as needed. Statutory Accounts:

Assist in the production of statutory accounts. External Reporting:

Produce information for auditors, banks, shareholders, and other external bodies. Ad-Hoc Duties:

Take on other ad-hoc duties as required.

Location / Office / Culture The role is based in Birmingham Business Park, 3 days in the office and 2 days a week from home. The team is around 20 people and has a very good management structure. The role itself has real support from a fantastic manager to help you grow.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: An ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualification At least two years' experience in management accounts Excellent organisational skills High attention to detail An ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Competence with office and financial software packages
