This leadership role involves creating the infrastructure, team, and processes that will support the department's success. You will work closely with the Engineering Team Lead and Operations Director to deliver cutting-edge digital engineering solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence. This hybrid role will include installing, servicing, and remotely troubleshooting digital equipment, along with training engineers on its maintenance and repair. Key responsibilities Responsible for establishing and managing the Digital Engineering department. Ensure the installing, servicing, and remotely troubleshooting of digital equipment. Handle various equipment such as OPG/CBCT machines and digital X-Ray Scanners. Train engineers on how to service, repair, validate, and maintain digital equipment. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers and colleagues. Drive sales and sign up customers to the service contracts. Build and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers. Keep accurate records of work done, parts used, and invoices issued. About You Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Digital Engineer or similar role. Familiarity or interest with the main brands of Digital including Dexis, Planmeca, Vatech, Carestream, Durr. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable leading a department and training engineers. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to different locations. Enthusiasm and passion for the job. Meticulous and organised, able to keep accurate records of work done, parts used, and invoices issued. Committed to following health and safety procedures and best practices in all aspects of your work.
