The Contentious Valuations team is part of Grant Thornton’s Forensic and Investigations Services (FIS) practice. It consists of two partners and a director who are supported by a superb team of valuation specialists. We provide advice in the context of Court, Arbitration and Expert Determinations of Value processes, acting either as Experts or providing advice to lawyers under privilege. Our work is typically international and covers a variety of sectors and sizes of claim. To secure opportunities and deliver our assignments we liaise closely with the wider Grant Thornton international network, particularly with the teams located in offshore financial centres, and this leads to significant opportunities for international travel for all of the team. As an Associate Director Forensic Valuations within our Forensic and Investigations team, you will: Review disclose documents Develop market and competitor reviews Oversee delivery of market, income, and cost-method valuation analyses Oversee development of loss of profit analyses Assist with the write up of findings and liaise with instructing lawyers Participate in business development activities, including writing articles, attending conferences, meeting with potential clients, and developing proposals. Assist with the training of the Contentious Valuations and wider Forensic Investigations Services teams both through our lecture programme and on the job Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as an Associate Director Forensic Valuations, the

minimum criteria

you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a large portfolio of audit clients. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
