Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students of all abilities. Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity and participation. Develop and adapt resources to align with curriculum standards and support innovative teaching practices. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential. Support students' understanding of key literary concepts and effective communication. Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance the overall learning experience. Promote positive behaviour and ensure adherence to school policies. What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language. Excellent communication and organisational skills to inspire and engage students. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs. Experience in developing creative teaching materials is desirable. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
