Join Our Team as a Secondary English Teacher in the City of London! Protocol Education is actively recruiting for English Teachers to support London Secondary Schools. If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or at least 2 years’ experience in Supply Teaching, we want to hear from you! Daily Cover/Part-Time/Full-Time flexibility Competitive Salary Are you a qualified English Teacher looking for a position beginning after October Half-Term? A rewarding position has arisen at an Ofsted ‘GOOD’ rated Secondary School in Central London. We are looking for positive, committed and ambitious English Teachers to join the English Department at a reputable school, playing a key role in delivering high-quality English Education to students between Key Stages 3 and 4. Your Role Plan and Deliver : craft and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE-level. Assess and Feedback : provide students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to foster their academic growth. Learning Environment : create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for Language and Literature. Assess and monitor student behaviours and take necessary action. Tailor lessons according to the needs of the students, in particular SEN and SEMH. Collaborate : work closely with the English Department and Learning Support Assistants to enhance overall learning experience. Share Best Practices : participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies and for professional development. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you will need: Qualifications : QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service. Knowledge and Skills : An understanding and preferably experience of teaching English up to GCSE-level, and the ability to adapt lessons according to the level and capacity of the class. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion : A genuine enthusiasm for English Education and helping young people reach their full potential.
