If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or at least 2 years’ experience in Supply Teaching, we want to hear from you! We are looking for positive, committed and ambitious English Teachers to join the English Department at a reputable school, playing a key role in delivering high-quality English Education to students between Key Stages 3 and 4. Your Role Plan and Deliver : craft and deliver engaging English lessons up to GCSE-level. Assess and Feedback : provide students with regular assessments and constructive feedback to foster their academic growth. Learning Environment : create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for Language and Literature. Assess and monitor student behaviours and take necessary action. Tailor lessons according to the needs of the students, in particular SEN and SEMH. Collaborate : work closely with the English Department and Learning Support Assistants to enhance overall learning experience. Share Best Practices : participate in departmental and staff meetings to exchange ideas and strategies and for professional development. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you will need: Qualifications : QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service. Knowledge and Skills : An understanding and preferably experience of teaching English up to GCSE-level, and the ability to adapt lessons according to the level and capacity of the class. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion : A genuine enthusiasm for English Education and helping young people reach their full potential.
