The engineer provides a broad-based electrical knowledge with the drive to learn some mechanical skills to become a multi-skilled engineer. The correct candidate will come with a right-first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site's performance.
Good communication skills are required to ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained at all times. This role will involve working on fully automated material handling equipment such as conveyors and cranes.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City and Guilds in an electrical engineering discipline Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment Experience of managing small teams on a customer site Able to work Monday to Friday (Early/Late/Night shifts) Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, and Allen keys Excellent communication skills and customer focus Ability to work in a time-critical environment.
