Petrofac is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer -
Contractor for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK. The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage. Scope of Services
: Scope of Services: · Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector. · Providetechnicalinput to estimates for project work scopes · Provide input toprogress and planning meetings · Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuringthat all design changes are captured by the change control process · Conduct site surveyson offshore or onshore assets · Producestructuralcalculationsand analysis · Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS · Providecheckingand approval ofdiscipline documents, completeinterdisciplinarychecking ofdocuments where necessary. · Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues · Production ofdisciplinedocumentation deliverables for inclusion inwork packs · Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standardsensuring theyare not compromised by anydisciplineengineeringactivities · Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards · Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate Deliverables: · Survey Reports · Structural Design Calculations · Structural Design and Analysis Reports · Input to Project Execution plans · Input to project basis of design documents · Input to concept study / FEED reports · Requisition (Including SDRL) · ConstructionWorkpackinput · Weight Control Reports · Presentations sketchesetc.to assist in scope communications Design Deliverables to Check: · Structural general arrangement drawings · Structural detail drawings · Structural destruct drawings · Installation methodology drawings / documents · Rigging drawings · Survey reports · Structural design calculations · Structural design and analysis reports · Project execution plans · Project basis of design documents · Concept study / FEED reports · Requisition (Including SDRL) · Constructionworkpacks · Weight control reports #LI-JN1 Additional Information
