Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will be at the core of our client's operations, taking charge of all aspects of financial control within the organisation. Your role will involve formulating and executing financial strategies that propel business growth. You will supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring precision and adherence to statutory law and financial regulations. Collaborating closely with the management team, you will set budgets and forecast financial trends. Your role also includes implementing effective risk management strategies and guiding, mentoring, and developing the finance team.

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or similar role Deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures Experience with crafting financial statements Outstanding leadership skills Robust analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to strategise and solve problems Effective communication skills What sets this company apart
