Description

We are looking for people to join our fantastic team at Somerset House Trust. As the home of cultural innovators, the Trust connects creativity and the arts with the broader society. Somerset House pursues a ‘Step Inside, Think Outside’ spirit and is born from the creative community we nurture - the experience and perspectives we host across background, age, race, and stage, and the intersections and crossovers we encourage. As B2B Marketing Manager you will lead strategic marketing efforts to enhance Somerset House’s business-to-business presence, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement across our partnership, sponsorship corporate hire, and resident community. This role will focus on generating new leads, nurturing existing relationships, and executing integrated campaigns to position Somerset House as a premier location for creative enterprises, corporate collaborations, and innovative partnerships. This is a pivotal role in ensuring Somerset House remains at the forefront of cultural innovation.

What we are looking for

Develop and implement a cohesive B2B marketing strategy to enhance Somerset House’s reputation and reach within key industries, including sponsorship, partnerships, venue hire and the resident community of creative enterprises and entrepreneurs. Identify and define target markets, refine brand positioning, and craft compelling messaging tailored to different B2B audience segments. Drive comms plans for all our B2B touchpoints, ensuring consistency in our messaging and creative while tailoring to many different audiences and channels. Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, email, events, PR, etc.) to promote Somerset House’s B2B offerings and generate leads. Collaborate with the creative and digital teams to develop impactful collateral, case studies, and content for campaigns. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and track trends across cultural innovation and creative entrepreneurship. Work closely with Somerset House’s internal teams, including residents, venue hire, development, and the programming teams, to align goals and maximize collaborative efforts. Develop and maintain partnerships with media, agencies, and other relevant external stakeholders. Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of B2B marketing activities using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Continually optimize campaign performance, testing new approaches, and refining strategies to meet and exceed marketing objectives. Consult on contractual agreements with externals to ensure the agreement is true to our brand, takes full advantage of crossover opportunities and is achievable.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience: Proven track record in B2B marketing, ideally within the arts, culture, events, or hospitality sectors. Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, and social media best practices. Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to develop targeted B2B marketing campaigns. A creative and innovative thinker with experience in crafting compelling marketing messages and value propositions. Experience with Nexedus or a similar platform preferred but not essential. Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously. Fine-tuned time management and prioritisation skills. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools, as well as a good understanding of analytics platforms.
