About us ModuSpec first introduced the concept of drilling rig inspection to the market in 1986 and over the past 37+ years has been providing unrivalled intake & inspection services for drilling rigs and vessels involved in the upstream oil & gas and renewables industry, including Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) performance services. We provide assurance and technical advice that supports the improvement of operations, including the performance and compliance of equipment, the competency of the people and robustness of the HSEQ management systems in place. We require support from HSEQ specialist(s) on a contract basis to deliver HSEQ projects. The contracts will be delivered on behalf of our Aberdeen office primarily servicing Europe & Africa region, however other global locations will apply. Job purpose To identify, monitor and report upon business / facility risk, ensuring that our clients are following the rules and regulations that apply to them by assessing HSEQ management systems, to deliver high end quality services within the energy sector. Key responsibilities & requirements Adhere to and support Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements. Be responsible for delivery of HSEQ assessments, audits and reviews from start to end, to deliver maximum value to the client and stakeholders through diligent preparation during kick-off meetings, and ensuring customised deliverables are effectively executed. Take responsibility for understanding project requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identify, evaluate and recommend options. Provide HSEQ technical support to stakeholders on project utilising your knowledge, of what is required to comply to local and international regulations and meet client specific requirements. Support the compilation, analysis, and completion of deliverables, including closure of recommendations. Support stakeholders at all levels to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Maintain the confidentiality of customers’ business, processes, designs, developments, and documentation. Travel globally (onshore and offshore) with valid basic offshore safety induction and emergency (BOSIET) training. Hold a degree level qualification in a related field, or have relevant industry experience. Have attained International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) Lead Auditor certification. Have membership of a related professional body and evidence of continuous development. Hold a strong functional working knowledge of a spectrum of international standards and industry best practice, ISO, API, etc, including industry best practices (Drops Online, OEUK, IOGP). Experience with training and competency management systems. Past documented performance history performing audits and/or other technically related services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficient in use of Microsoft office).
