ROBERT WALTERS - MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - BIRMINGHAM (HYBRID WORKING) - £55,000 PER ANNUM Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Management Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your financial expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the company's profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.
What you'll do:
Prepare monthly management accounts and present them to senior stakeholders. Develop and manage financial systems/policies. Control income, cash flow, and expenditure. Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting trends. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines. Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. What you bring:
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role. Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices. Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting. Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on accounting software and spreadsheets. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
