The Explore Group are looking for a skilled Service Transition Manager to lead the migration of our clients current IT environment to a managed Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) cloud platform. The role requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and managing IT transitions in a government context.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration from legacy systems to Amazon EKS, ensuring minimal disruption.
Manage project timelines, resources, and risks throughout the transition.
Collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress.
Provide expertise in Kubernetes and cloud technologies to ensure successful migration.
Set up post-transition support and monitoring to maintain platform stability.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS .
Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
Experience working in a government environment, with SC clearance .
Proven track record of managing IT transitions and change management.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
