£50,000 to £65,000 + Package HSEQ Manager (Full-time permanent) Unique remote & home-based role with travel to London 3-4 times per month Building maintenance company

Search is delighted to have been chosen as the exclusive recruitment partner by a growing building maintenance firm looking to recruit a HSEQ Manager to join their growing business.

Why this is a unique opportunity:

Health and safety (or HSEQ) doesn't benefit from the same level of flexibility as some other sectors (like tech & IT for example) in that safety roles usually involve a lot of travel, often regionally or nationwide.

This role is a remote, home-based role. There is travel to be expected, however, how this is managed is entirely down to you and will almost exclusively be London based projects that you will visit.

The frequency of London travel will approximately be 3-4 times per month. Asides from that, you will be based from home. There is an opportunity to spend time with the team as you wish in the company's offices - but this is not an obligation.

The company provide building maintenance services directly to customers as well as acting as Tier 1 suppliers to larger firms. Services range from construction fit-out projects to plumbing and heating maintenance services and everything in between.

There will be 3 key areas of responsibility within the role:

1) Health and Safety - 80% 2) ISO Management Systems - 10% 3) Compliance - 10%

Why you could be the ideal candidate for this role: You work in a role with similar risks (Building / property services, FM, Social Housing, Engineering, Construction) and are looking for better work-life balance You are currently a HSEQ / HSE / H&S Manager or Advisor implementing company policies at the moment, and want to be in a role in which you are the person shaping those processes & policies What you will be doing Producing site specific RAMS for projects Supporting with occasional construction phase plans Working in collaboration with Project Managers to ensure safety of staff & subcontractors on site Ongoing implementation and maintenance of ISO45001, ISO9001 & ISO14001 management systems - supporting the company's external ISO Consultant Contractor vetting and reviews - contacting the supplier chain, filling out PQQs, making sure that the records are up-to-date Ensuring company's compliance with accreditations and bodies - i.e ConstructionLine, Gas Fast, Waste Carriers license, NICEIC What you will need Experience in a health and safety / HSEQ / QSHE / QHSE role ideally within an environment with similar risk profile; FM, Building Maintenance, Construction, Engineering Willingness to operate autonomously from home, with travel in to London NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum Interested?
