1 direct report – Technology Analyst About us: Central Hall Westminster (CHW) Ltd is owned by Trustees appointed by the Methodist Church; as such we aim to conduct business in line with the ethics of the Methodist Church and our Central Hall Venues (CHV) values. CHV is the brand name for the portfolio of venues run by CHW Ltd. We are looking for a Technology Manager who will support and oversee the effective planning and delivery of technology across the Central Hall Venues (CHV) operation. About you: You will have proven managerial experience in leading IT/Technology departments and will be skilled in AV systems, network infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies, including Azure. You will be adept at providing support across all levels, from 1st to 3rd line, and have strong experience in ticket management and remote support. Additionally, you will possess excellent people management skills, effective communication abilities, and hold relevant qualifications such as a degree in IT and certifications like CompTIA, Microsoft, and CCNA. You will be responsible for: Overseeing the technology budget to ensure cost-effectiveness Line management of technology department Identifying issues and recommending strategic solutions Providing technology-related support to senior management and directors Network & Application: Supplier Management: Oversee MSP contracts and helpdesks. Systems Coordination: Design, develop, implement, and manage systems, policies, and procedures. Co-Management with MSPs: Support and manage Central Hall Venues’ Microsoft 365 environment, internal LAN infrastructure, and handle escalations. Manage other technology systems including VoIP, printers, servers, anti-virus, and digital signage across venues. Event Management: Management of the events LAN infrastructure at CHW. Collaborate with clients, internal events team, and AV service partner on the selection of LAN/WAN/WiFi provisions. Attend production meetings and manage a technology schedule for events.
