will include: Providing comprehensive legal support across all aspects of the M&A transactions from pre- and post-acquisition stages. Drafting and reviewing transaction documents, conducting due diligence, assessing legal risks, and maintaining records. Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Corporate Development, Tax, Finance teams. Ensure all M&A transactions comply with group policies and procedures. Assist in managing any claims and queries which arise from historical M&A activity. Oversee the appointment and management of external law firms and other advisors. The ideal candidate will have the following
skills and attributes: Qualified lawyer in the UK or another common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE. Training in an international law firm with a primary focus in Corporate / M&A, this will ideally include experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions through the full deal lifecycle. Experience with real estate or corporate finance transactions will be desirable. High-level of organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to demonstrate a positive commercial and solutions-focused approach in dealing with a variety of global legal issues. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
