The Springtown location plays an integral role in the manufacturing process of the group. The External Reporting and Technical Accounting team partners with the wider finance team and other organizations to support Seagate globally. The successful candidate will play a key role in this growing team, supporting compliance in financial reporting as well as providing technical accounting support to colleagues globally. About the role - you will:

Play a key role in the preparation of external reporting filings (US SEC – 10K / 10Q; global consolidated financial statements). Take a leading role in the preparation of ESG reporting, in particular CSRD adoption and ongoing compliance. Provide technical accounting guidance and support to key business partners across the organization, performing research and documenting findings clearly and concisely. Support the ongoing management and updating of Seagate global finance policies. Adhere to tight reporting deadlines. Prepare SOX control documentation for controls over financial reporting. Liaise with finance teams across the organization internationally. Ad hoc projects as required. Any other duties in line with team responsibilities. About you:

Self-starter, confident with working independently as well as working as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, organized and accurate. Very good oral and written communication skills. Your experience includes:

Qualified accountant, with significant experience within a busy multinational organization strongly preferred. High level of knowledge of key business tools – MS Office, systems (SAP) and analytical tools. Excellent knowledge of accounting standards including US GAAP, with the ability to research relevant guidance and provide feedback. Experience of operating within a SOX control environment. Previous experience in environmental/climate reporting (including CSRD) is preferred but not essential.
