We are seeking a motivated and experienced Market Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing research projects, and delivering actionable insights that drive business success in the tourism sector. This role requires a blend of project management skills, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of tourism market dynamics. The Sr. Market Research Analyst reports directly to MMGY’s VP, Custom Research with dotted-line reporting to the VP of Data Operations & Analytics. Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary contact for all assigned research clients and projects, and understanding their needs to provide tailored research solutions. Project Oversight:

Lead the execution of research projects from inception to completion, managing contracts, scope definition, pricing, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Data Analysis:

Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable insights for clients, serving as the senior analyst for all projects and presenting results in a clear and compelling manner. Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, media, and advertising, as well as the data operations team, to ensure alignment on project methodology, data collection strategies, and reporting standards. Market Trends:

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in tourism research to provide informed recommendations and strategic implications for clients. Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, ensuring the structure, layout, and content meet agency standards and highlight key findings effectively. Business Development:

Identify opportunities for additional research projects or services within existing accounts, proactively seeking organic growth opportunities across all agency marketing channels and contributing to proposal development. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Tourism, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in account management, market research, or related fields, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of managing client relationships. Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word), research methodologies and tools; Familiarity with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Passion for the tourism industry and a keen interest in market trends. Your Employment Benefits:
