Accountant

to join a dynamic company in Fareham. In this role, you will manage key financial processes, provide detailed financial reports, and support strategic decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities as Management Accountant: Prepare and produce detailed monthly management accounts. Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts. Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and monthly journals. Produce VAT returns and ensure timely submission of all financial reports to regulatory authorities. Support the budgeting and forecasting process. Monitor cash flow, review bank payments and manage relationships with external stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in management accounting, including preparing financial reports and conducting reconciliations. Strong knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and VAT returns. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively within a team and with other departments.
