JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Periodic analysis of product margin deviation versus budget/quotation/financial targets and work closely with Key Account Managers to drive margins improvement activities.
Monitoring and executing of ad-hoc and quarterly mass standards costs updates to ensure accurate bill of materials and labour overhead cost rollup for transactions processing and decision making.
Monthly cost centre cost variance analysis and work with cost centre cost owners to understand costs behaviours and improve company’s performance through various cost control measures.
Monthly inventory reporting and analysis, reconciliation between inventory accounts in the General Ledger and the inventory details reports.
Monitoring of aging inventories and ensuring adequate provision coverage.
Clearly understand the contractual obligations relating to material exposure and periodic review of E&WRQ materials exposure together with Key Account Managers to ensure materials are taken over by customers according to the agreed contractual terms.
Periodic review of E&WRQ provision to comply with ESCAccounts requirements.
Produce and analyse certain parts of the monthly reports (MIR & CMM) and all other reports required from the company management and the corporate management from time to time.
Meet the required deadlines and produce meaningful and user-friendly reports to effectively support management decision making.
Active involvement in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process according to corporate guidelines and timelines.
Coordinate month-end accruals to accounting.
Any other tasks assigned by the section leads.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Preferably a diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with support groups and other departments.
Must have at least 1 year of knowledge.
