Academics have an exciting opportunity for you to join an amazing Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Basingstoke which provides education and care for 128 young people between the ages of 5 to 16, with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
The school is looking to appoint a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM) to become part of their growing team. This is a permanent position starting in January 2025, working 42.5 hours per week, with a salary between 35,235 - 38,626.
To be considered for the role, you must have previous training/experience within a safeguarding/attendance role, Social Services, or Police. Additionally, you should have GCSE Maths and English grades between A-C and a good understanding of attendance protocols.
This role is suited to someone who can remain calm under pressure, is patient and empathetic, can build strong relationships with young people, and understands the need for confidentiality.
