A well-established firm based in Warrington is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to join their experienced team. This firm has been in the market for over 40 years and provides a range of accounting and audit services to their clients. They prioritize giving clients a unique service and aim to be a trusted business partner through best practice advice. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to develop their skill set in a general practice and have responsibility over their own portfolio of clients.
Your new role As Accounts and Audit Senior, you will be responsible for the accounts preparation for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from various industries. You will also manage relationships with clients and address any queries. You will have audit involvement from planning to leading and completion of files for manager review. Your duties will also include corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT returns. You will work on accounting software, specifically Xero, to assist in streamlining processes.
What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment, including experience with audits. This candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software such as Xero. Ideally, you will have experience in handling a client portfolio.
What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 dependent on experience.
