You have a sound understanding of internal controls and an ability to work to an agreed controls standard. Documenting and agreeing controls with the business, identifying remediations and gaps, and supporting in the remediation process. Experience of using controls software is an advantage, but not essential as low technical input is required. Ability to train controls related topics to the business and experience of training. Outstanding task management. Strong relationship management. Ownership and accountability as core skills/traits. Strong track record in internal controls or internal audit - no resprayed external auditors. Significant experience in controls outside of finance is essential, but just as much of the role will be in non-finance. About DFS
