HR Generalist - Food service company - Coleraine MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic food service company based in Coleraine, that currently requires an experienced HR Generalist on a contract basis for 11 months. This role will be very recruitment focused, ideally suiting someone with a strong recruitment background, looking to gain further HR experience. The role Reporting to an experienced Head of HR, the successful HR Generalist will be commercially minded, interacting on a regular basis with various key internal stakeholders, ensuring the HR service they provide genuinely adds value to the business. You will be responsible for all 600 employees, communicating with staff at all levels, including senior management. As HR Generalist, you will provide consistent advice and guidance across a range of HR responsibilities, including performance management, absence management, representing the company during audits, employee relations, recruitment, and disciplinaries. As HR Generalist, you will focus on coaching line managers around ongoing absence management issues, highlighting long-term and short-term absence trends, ensuring the management team find the right resolution and absence is reduced across the business area. You will also work to support the broader HR team on various projects that feed into longer-term strategic goals, including change management processes.
