Saddlers are recruiting for the Head of Health and Safety.
Location Based out of Leeds, LS9. Covering the Yorkshire region. Expected to travel to sites across Yorkshire.
Job Role The right candidate must have a background in civils, water, or rail. We are seeking a dynamic Head of HSEQ to join our team, covering the Yorkshire region. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress in H&S in the civils sector.
Experience Required
Previous experience in a lead or Head of H&S role Experience managing a team Background in civils, water, or rail sectors NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum but ideally IOSH CEnv or equivalent as a minimum but ideally associate IEMA Client facing Sound knowledge of quality controls associated with company work activities Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations High standard of written English Good communication skills, including a professional telephone manner People skills – ability to liaise with staff/operatives of all levels within the company Excellent use of MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Effective communicator with strong presentation and report-writing skills CSCS Safety Professional card SMSTS Temporary Works qualification Passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Lead by/set a good example
