About the Job: We are looking for a highly motivated Security Controller to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of facilities and personnel, maintaining compliance with security protocols, and managing the facility security clearance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that prioritises innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities: Maintain the Facility Security Clearance (FSC) and serve as the primary contact for audits conducted by the MoD. Ensure facilities are equipped for the handling and processing of classified assets. Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the business. Conduct training sessions on security policies for all staff and manage access control measures. Manage personnel vetting processes, including Baseline Personnel Security Screening (BPSS) and SC/DV vetting. Provide security advice and best practice guidance, chairing regular security meetings and ensuring compliance at the Board level. Monitor changes to company status and update security policies as necessary.

About You: To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in security management, particularly within a controlled environment. You will be proactive and professional, with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to process improvement.

Experience and Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in a Security Controller position, managing BPSS/SC clearance processes. Knowledge of UK Security Vetting procedures and personnel clearance processes. DISA accredited Security Controller course and other relevant certifications (can be sponsored). Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to engage effectively with all personnel. Experience in performing audits and managing staff wellness initiatives.
