We have opportunities for 3 ambitious Band 5/EO regulatory scientists to work in our Toxicology teams where work will be undertaken principally across the Biocides and Pesticides regimes. You will work as part of a team and learn about the role of toxicologists in CRD and how to undertake the technical assessments that underpin our regulatory role. You will evaluate data from standard regulatory studies but also mechanistic and literature information to assess the human health hazards of a variety of chemicals. For the 3 posts available, this will include pesticide and biocide active substances and their formulations. You will join a structured training programme which includes working closely with and being under supervision of other toxicologists. This will introduce you to all the different elements of your role, enabling you to gain in-depth knowledge of regulatory toxicology and develop valuable experience in regulatory science. On completion, you will have the opportunity to apply for through grading to Band 4!
