Main Duties of the Job Clinical Decision Making Patient Management Care Planning : Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients, aligning with practice disease management protocols and wider guidelines such as those from NICE. Follow-Up Care : Ensure appropriate follow-up for patients as required. Clinical Documentation : Maintain clear and accurate consultation notes within clinical systems. Clinical Audits : Participate in clinical audits, learning events, and practice meetings within a culture of continuous improvement. Prescribing : Issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions and follow prescribing best practices, including generic prescribing in accordance with the Practice's prescribing formulary and NICE guidelines.
