My client is an award-winning catering provider to extra care and senior living sectors who provide residents modern apartments, offering award-winning specialist care and wellbeing to their residents. As Chef Manager, you are a pivotal part of the management team at a new home in High Wycombe. Reporting to the Home Manager and your Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful daily running of the catering and restaurant. Your role is to consistently provide restaurant-quality meals to the residents, using fresh local produce where possible, enhancing their mealtimes with dishes to impress. You will develop menus with the input of the residents, ensuring their dietary needs are also met. Theme nights always go down well too. The successful candidate will display a clear passion for leading, motivating, and developing their team to ensure you deliver an exceptional resident experience. You will be a great communicator who demonstrates passion by engaging regularly with our guests and continuously coaching the team to deliver their full potential. Strong financial acumen is essential. Experience within high-end extra care is desirable, although not essential. Leadership skills and a genuine passion for food and presentation are required. A DBS check is required.
